In 1945 we celebrated winning a war and welcomed home our Soldiers. The last of the major wars we automatically remember in November creates an image of a veteran we all know strong people who knuckled down and rebuilt our country. In 2011 our Service Personnel fight never ending battles and return to communities that don't know they are there...

Our co-op's values focus on self-help and responsibility, democracy, equality and solidarity. These key values can create a strong and productive community that bridges the gap between being a soldier and a veteran. Our ethics are to be open, honest and socially responsible. It is todays war veterans that need and deserve our on-going respect and recognition for what they have done, it is a fact that they may struggle to adjust to being a civilian.

A co-operative is an autonomous association of people united voluntarily to meet their common economic social and cultural needs and aspirations through a jointly owned and democratically controlled enterprise.

By creating a social economic development body such as ours, we will be able to support innovative and sustainable business for the future amongst our members and associates.We believe supporting this co-op will provide members with many benefits, not least a real chance to ensure that veterans in local communities thrive and get the recognition they deserve, are understood and given respect.
